Please read over our terms and conditions carefully before placing any orders. The use of this website constitutes your acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Disclosure and reference of company herein  

GT Discs is a trade name of Gartner Tech LLC.  From hence forth in the terms and conditions, reference to GT Discs or Gartner Tech LLC is referring to the same company of Gartner Tech LLC.

How orders are accepted

Orders are accepted through our website, email or via our phone number, 1-763-760-2178.

Ordering with Purchase Orders is done as follows

We accept purchase orders from schools, government institutions, and companies approved by GT Discs (Gartner Tech LLC) for terms after filling out an application to request a Corporate Account. We do not accept purchase orders from companies outside of the United States. The application is available upon request, and the application process takes one to two weeks.  Applicants are notified of their account status when their application has been processed. A minimum sales per year of $1,000 is required and reviewed on an annual basis. The first order generally is done via credit card, with some exceptions. GT Discs (Gartner Tech LLC) does not grant terms above Net 30. Purchase orders are accepted by way of e-mail to [email protected], or by email directly to a GTech Discs Customer Care Professional. We do accept verbal purchase orders to start processing, but the purchase order must be confirmed with an email or snail-mail document prior to shipping.


Orders for in-stock items placed on our website before 3:00pm CST can usually be shipped within 24 hours upon receipt of order. We use a variety of shipping methods including UPS, Federal Express, and the United States Postal Service (USPS). Shipping costs are calculated based on a flat rate using the contents of your order.

Returned Goods

Returns must comply with the return procedure set forth below, and all returned items must be in new condition, including the original box, packaging, manuals and accessories within 30 days.

In the event goods supplied by GT Discs are considered defective and/or non-conforming by the customer, GT Discs must be notified within thirty days. GT Discs can then issue a Return Materials Authorization (RMA) number. We do not accept any returned goods without an RMA number. Unless instructed otherwise, refusal of shipment when a package is delivered does not constitute a request for an RMA. Once an RMA has been issued, the customer has fourteen days to return the package to GT Discs. Once the item(s) have been received and reviewed, the customer can expect a credit onto their card, or a revised invoice in the case of Corporate Accounts, within fourteen days.

For items GT Discs verifies are defective upon receipt, errors in shipment, or exchange returns, no restocking fee is charged. All other returns or exchanges, there is a 20% restocking fee subtracted from the amount credited back to the customer’s credit card.

GT Discs reserves the right to inspect all defective and returned merchandise before an exchange or credit will be made. If we made a “good faith” no charge exchange and you do not ship back the defective item within 10 days, you will be charged for the original and the replacement item.

GT Discs can credit shipping costs only in the event of a mistake on our end in shipping. If you are shipping something back to us as a return/exchange, you pay for return shipping. GT Discs does not have a “free return shipping” policy. GT Discs is not responsible for returned items that are lost in shipment or get lost or delayed in transit to GT Discs.

All returns over $10,000 must be reviewed by the Management Team of GT Discs before they can be approved.

Custom items are NC/NR (non-cancelable/non-returnable).

Missing Items

If parts are missing from your order, you must notify GT Discs within 7 days of receiving your order.   Stock is verified and missing parts are then shipped out based on the result of that verification.


Most items sold by the Seller are covered by the manufacturers’ warranties.  The Seller expressly limits its liabilities to the applicable manufacturer’s warranty.  Warranty is limited to repair, replacement, or refund of the purchase price paid for the product at the sole discretion of the Seller.  Products which GT Discs manufactures, terminates, assembles or otherwise alters from the original state in which they were manufactured will carry a warranty to be free from defects in workmanship for a period of one year from the date of shipment.  GT Discs will not be responsible for any consequential or indirect damages.


GT Discs accepts payment by Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and PayPal. Other methods approved upon request.  If approved for a corporate account with terms, we accept company checks.  Payment is due in full as stated on the invoice. For purchase orders, late fees of 2.5% of the unpaid balance will be charged on delinquent accounts commencing after the first billing cycle from the date of the invoice if GT Discs deems the situation requires such action. Any costs of collections, including attorney fees, will be added to invoice.  We do not normally accept COD payments. Cashiers checks and money orders are accepted on a pre-pay basis.  GT Discs does not grant terms over Net 30.

Returned Checks

If the Buyer’s check is returned to GT Discs for insufficient funds, because payment has been stopped, or for any other reasons, a specific charge of $15.00 will be assessed for the handling of that check regardless of the reason for handling or processing. Two or more returned checks within a 60-day period will cause the account to revert to prepaid / credit card basis.

Customer Privacy

GT Discs does not rent, sell or otherwise forward your name to other companies. We collect only the information necessary to keep the customer well-informed of the status of his or her order. For further information, please see our Privacy Policy.

In Case of Fraud

GT Discs reserves the right to refuse any order whose billing address does not match the address on the credit card, or is in any other way suspicious, to prevent fraud. GT Discs reports all fraudulent orders.

Sample Merchandise

If GT Discs provides a part as a sample free of charge, that part cannot be exchanged for credit, or money back to a credit card.  If the sample part is found to be defective, or does not work in the application, it is up to GT Discs to determine if the sample will be replaced.  It is up to the customer to determine if a part will work in their application. 

Prices and Specifications

Prices, specifications, and availability of products are subject to change without notice. Due to the changing nature of the world markets for raw materials, and because of the technical differences in the equipment of our customers, product descriptions may not reflect current technical information, and we cannot be responsible for photographic differences in product size, shape and color.  Prices are shown in U.S. Dollars.

Verification of Order

GT Discs orders generate an automatic confirmation e-mail, but the receipt of a confirmation only means that we have received your order and does not constitute an offer to sell. We may change our pricing, product availability, product description or specifications after any confirmation e-mail, but prior to shipment, due to errors, changing market conditions, product discontinuation or unavailability, typographical errors, or any other reason. While it is the customer’s responsibility to cancel their own orders, we reserve the right to limit the quantity of any item sold or prohibit a sale altogether.

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall GT Discs or its officers, directors or employees be liable for any indirect, special or consequential damages, or any other damages of any kind, whether in an action in contract, tort (including but not limited to negligence) or otherwise, arising out of or in any way connected with the use or inability to use this site or the materials contained in, or accessed through, this site. This includes without limitation any damages caused by or resulting from reliance by you on any information obtained from gartnertech.com or that result from mistakes, omissions, interruptions, deletion of files or email, error, defects, viruses, delays in operation or transmission or any failure of performance.

No matter the root cause, whether for breach of contract, negligence, or otherwise, and whether or not GT Discs has been advised of the possibility of such damages, you agree that GT Discs maximum liability arising from any product sold by GT Discs shall not exceed the price of such product. 


If you create an account and password on GT Discs’ website, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password, as well as account information.  Also, you are fully responsible for all conduct carried out under this password and account. We are not liable for any loss of confidentiality or for any damages arising from your failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions. You will promptly report any unauthorized use of your password to us.  This website’s sales and services are not intended to be used for children under the age of 13.  If you are under the age of 13 you must have an adult accompany you while using this site.
